Install Android to HP TouchPad Tablet (Replace WEBos)

1. Install Novacom Drivers

2. Hold down the volume up button while the Touchpad reboots.
Once you see the large USB symbol on the screen release the volume button.

3. Connect the HP Touchpad to your PC via the USB cable.

4. Extract TP Toolbox Files.
On Windows, run the batch file named tptb_v42_win.bat
On Linux, run the script named tptb_v42_nix.sh
On Mac, run the script named tptb_v42_mac.command

5. On tablet should now see a menu.
Use the volume buttons to navigate the menu and the home button to make selections.

6. The procedure will completely remove WebOS and Android from the device.
Scroll down to Complete Data Reset and select it with the home button and choose yes to begin the process.

7. Scroll down to Install Android from the menu and select it with the home button.
The TP Toolbox will mount the media partition/volume to your PC.
Open the Touchpads Media partition/volume under my computer and look for the “ttinstall” folder.

8. Place the Rom, Gapps package and recovery zips into the “ttinstall” folder.
*3 Zip Files in "Cyanogenmod files to ttfiles folder" Folder*

9. Once all 3 zips are on the device.
Scroll down to Unmount Media Volume and select it with the home button.

10. It will check the files are copied right and It will ask if you want to install OS.
Scroll down to yes from the menu and select it with the home button.

11. Now simply wait while it all installs tablet will restart a few times.

12. Once you see the welcome/setup screen your good to go.
